The Foundation will select spinners from all over the country provide them with intensive training under the guidance and supervision of world class spinners. It will also invite spinners globally for honing up their skills in the foundation.

The Spin Foundation shall have a tie-up with National Cricket Academy, Australian Cricket Academy, Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Association, Newzealand Cricket Academy, SriLanka Cricket Board to send their spinners for advanced training / coaching so as to have exposure of outstanding wards, the foundation have exchange with other countries and vice-versa.

The training programme will include presentations by eminent spinners and audio-visual highlighting the all-too-delicate and not easily acquirable art of spin bowling

Intensive physical training workout is given under the supervision of expert physiotherapist.

Three days in a week the wards have a workout at the gymnasium. Apart from these they take care of injuries and any other minor problems at the Physio-Centre.

The wards are constantly made to bowl against top class batsman which includes Test Cricketers and State Cricketers to fine tune the delicate art of spin bowling.

Added to this are different types of turf wickets on which the boys are made to bowl to gain experience. They are also made to participate in a series of tournaments and their performances are keenly watched and monitored. We shall be maintaining a database on each & every wards performances, to keep track of rewards of every ward.

The Foundation will assiduously strive to aid all aspiring youngsters' with quest for sporting distinction - nay sporting excellence, to produce the champions of tomorrow.

Under Flood Lights
Flood Lights Inaugrated on 17h Jan 2006.

Trainees can concentrate on their school studies and then practice under the flood lights with an open mind.
Intensive Physical Training

Physical training for the trainees is taken up by Mr. Maran Reebok qualified trainer.

Imported equipments worth 15 lakhs where trainees are trained twice a week.

Yoga Activities

Yoga class twice a week once in the morning and once in the evening by

Mr. Venkatakrishnan, Yoga Therapist.

Training (By Whom & What)
Specialized training for 50 days a year under the expertise of Mr. Prasanna, Mr. Maninder Singh for India Ashley Mallet from Australia, Venkatapathy Raju & Raghuram Bhat.

Coaching for the remaining part of the year by Mr. Peter Fernandez, Former Tamilnadu State Player and Level III coach.

Intra & Inter Teams Matches

Matches against first divisional teams to get exposure for State Teams under various ages: 13/15, 17/19, 22.

Centre wicket practice for match simulation

The outstanding trainees will be taken abroad to play with outstanding teams to get exposure in summer.

  Facilities
Education
Education is looked after the trainees with a tie-up with leading welfares and colleges

Hostel
Boarding & Lodging is provided to the outstation trainees who are studying at Chennai.

Gymnasium
A modern gym is provided to the trainees which is as per international norms and is constantly upgraded.

Consultants
Physiotherapist and a psychotherapists are employed
